Welcome to AVVA - Associates of Vietnam Veterans of America

Associates of Vietnam Veterans of America is a national non-profit membership and service organization. Working through 600 local Chapters of Vietnam Veterans of America, and working independently, AVVA supports the needs of veterans, their families and their communities.

To advance the work of Vietnam Veterans of America through cooperative projects and programs to facilitate, enhance and improve communication with our members and the general public and to continue legislative efforts to ensure the rights and benefits of all veterans and their families.

Associates of Vietnam Veterans of America is dedicated to the aggressive advancement of realistic goals with integrity and in the spirit of unity that reflects our commitment to Vietnam Veterans of America, all veterans, their families and others.

AVVA - Chapter 240 - Sumner County, Tennessee

Membership

Membership in AVVA is open to spouses of veterans, family (age 18 and above), friends of veterans and the general public.

Meetings

Meetings are held concurrently with Vietnam Veterans of America, Chapter 240, on the first Monday of each month at 7PM at 73 New Shackle Island Rd, Hendersonville, Tenessee 27075. At 6PM, AVVA members put together and serve, buffet style, a bite to eat for all to enjoy.

After the opening of the general meeting, AVVA meets separately to discuss independent opportunities and issues and other matters in support of Chapter 240.
